Program Detail

Environmental concerns influence many business decisions in today’s world. Energy efficiency and conservation go hand-in-hand with environment stewardship. By implementing this Project, KTHR will contribute to reducing the emissions and pollutants associated with power generation and the burning of fossil fuels. Along with large CO2 reductions, KTHR will reduce SOX and NOX emissions, which are noted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as Criteria Air Contaminants or "principle air pollutants that pose a direct threat to peoples’ health".    See Benefits, Locations, Scope of Work
