Night Setback
Overview
The Smeaton Health Centre has two commercial furnaces that ventilate the facility. Each furnace is controlled by a Honeywell programmable thermostat, but currently there is no schedule being implemented and the units are running at a constant setpoint during both occupied and un-occupied periods. By implementing a night setback strategy, significant savings can be achieved through reduced fan energy and natural gas usage.

Scope
The existing programmable thermostats will be programmed according to the occupancy schedule and will be programmed to be set back to 18 C during the un-occupied hours between 5:00pm and 7:00am
